Bookish links- November 2024

November new releases I'm excited about: I think I Was Murdered // Wishing for Mistletoe

Very interesting (long) video explaining the history and importance of the 1611 version of the King James bible

Don't forget to check back on the 14th for the Christy Award winners!

We have an old (smaller) style of Kindle Paperwhite, I think version 5, and I finally found a great case! We recently got a used, old-style Kindle for $3 at a library sale (!!!) so I got the bookshelf case for that one, too. The bookshelf case is even prettier in person!

Thanksgiving cookbooks

Spotted this 3D Secret Garden puzzle in a toy store. I don't have any desire to own it or store it in my house (😆) but I still appreciate how lovely it is!

Exercises and stretches to do while reading

Autumn craft- how to make a book page Apple

Marriage books you're definitely going to love

Lexi's Christian nonfiction favorites

How delightful is this Narnia birthday party?!

Not bookish but you'll be okay- I told you in my Soup Season post that I would make this soup the next time someone had a sore throat. I did make it last month and it was a hit! We used tiny star-shaped noodles and those of us who love spice added cayenne to ours. We've renamed it Sore Throat Soup. Those whose throats weren't super sore did enjoy adding peas and/or chickpeas for texture.

Good read, parents- reading is fundamental

Book my logic-brained husband is loving: Sealed by he King, which details all kinds of patterns in the Bible

Create a hygge reading nook (but skip the candles, so toxic 😞)

We all watched season 1 of The Wingfeather Saga on our Friday movie nights and the kids loved it!

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
